Patrick L. Beach
Mr. Beach is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Captec Financial Group. He attended the University of Michigan and graduated from its School of Business Administration in 1977 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. In 1981, he founded Captec. Mr. Beach and Captec have sponsored 10 private and public real estate investment funds and partnerships throughout the company's history. These included the initial public offering of Captec Net Lease Realty, Inc. (formerly NASDAQ: CRRR) in 1997, which was merged into Commercial Net Lease Realty (NYSE: NNN) at the end of 2001. Mr. Beach is also the managing partner of Merchants Capital Partners, L.P., an affiliate of Captec, a private equity fund licensed as a Small Business Investment Corporation (SBIC).
He is a Managing Member of La Playa Properties, LLC (www.laplayaproperties.com) a developer of single family and multi family residential communities. In addition, he is a Managing Member of Gibraltar Holdings, LLC (www.gibraltar1031.com) a sponsor of 1031 Tenant in Common investment programs. Mr. Beach is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers; the Urban Land Institute; the National Multi Housing Council; and Young Presidents Organization.
